Ladies and Gentlemen of Bellingham,
I’m happy to invite you all to the innaugural soccer game at the new North Field next Saturday, September 22nd. The game is at 9AM, and features my U14 “Bellingham Blizzard” girls team against the Franklin Twisters.
We’ve been using the field for practices since last spring, and have recently had some scrimmages against teams from other towns to prove that two teams worth of cars can park in the parking lot. The field is beautiful, and is a showcase for the Bellingham Soccer program.
Lynn Ulsh will be on hand to report on the opening for the Bellingham Bulletin.
Due to the tight parking situation at North Field, if you choose to come, please park on the Caryville Crossing road, cross the street and walk up the sidewalk to the field. Please leave the parking lot for the parents and players of both teams.
Please note that parking at Twin Brook development (just past North Field on the left) is also an option. The road on Caryville Crossing development does not have space for a large number of vehicles parking on the side.
North field is on Rt. 126, and is about 1 mile south of the Medway border. It is just past the old North School. Directions to North Field.
